Responsibilities Fund Accounting and Reporting Responsible to onboard new clients and set up new funds and fund structures into the accounting system in accordance with governing documents (i.e., PPM, LPA, etc.). Responsible for providing quality bookkeeping, NAV and performance fee calculation for Private equity, Venture Capital, Hedge Fund, Fund-of funds and Family Offices. Knowledge in blockchain transaction reconciliation (multi-chain), custody solutions (cold/hot wallet management), staking/yield farming accounting, DeFi protocol integration (lending/borrowing, liquidity pools), crypto-specific audit support, regulatory filings (virtual asset service providers frameworks) is highly preferred Invoice processing (including handling client’s payments and receipts) Knowledge in consolidated financial statements is a plus Assist senior fund accountants to resolve accounting issues and client service matters. Participation in special projects to enhance accounting, operations and reporting processes Facilitate annual audits of the Funds and liaise with the auditors to ensure timely completion of audit. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting Ensure all regulatory filings are completed accurately and submitted on time. Stay up to date on industry regulations, specifically those affecting fund structures. Investor and client services Effectively and efficiently respond to all the client’s queries Perform KYC on investors for subscriptions and redemptions Keep Track of Investor Information including but not limited to email correspondence and bank details. Qualifications requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a business-related field. Relevant working experience in fund administration, audit firm or relevant financial services. Junior Fund Accountant: Minimum 1-2 years Senior Fund Accountant: 3–5 years understanding of fund structures, including hedge funds, private equity, and venture capital. Knowledge of financial instruments, international accounting standards and fund practices. Proficiency in fund accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). High level of accuracy, detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Comfortable taking ownership of work and ensuring deliverables when working independently. Fluent in English and Mandarin.
