Commercial Director, Travel Retail (multi-category) Seeking a highly motivated Commercial Manager to lead and expand a diverse portfolio of categories across the HK market. This role is central to driving growth, building strong partnerships, and shaping the future of the business. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands‑on execution, ensuring both established and emerging categories thrive in a competitive market. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement commercial strategies across multiple categories. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on diversifying and strengthening the portfolio. Build and maintain strong relationships with both international brand partners and local suppliers. Lead and mentor a team of Category Managers, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth. Conduct market and policy analysis to anticipate trends and inform decision‑making. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and maximize profitability. Ensure customer‑centric solutions that resonate with local and international audiences. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align strategies and deliver consistent results. Candidate Profile Proven track record in commercial management, category leadership, or business development within retail, FMCG, or related industries. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to explore and develop new business opportunities. Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting market trends, consumer behavior, and regulatory impacts. Pragmatic, down‑to‑earth, and customer‑focussed approach to business. Resilient and proactive, with the drive to go beyond expectations in delivering results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage and influence diverse stakeholders. Leadership experience with the ability to inspire, guide and develop a team.
