Our Graduate Trainee (GT) programmes, launched in 2000, give ambitious individuals the chance to launch a career in the aviation industry. Graduate Trainee Programme The structured 3‑year programme gives trainees hands‑on experience and mentorship from industry leaders. Trainees attach to the aviation division under Swire Group Companies and Rolls‑Royce (U.K.) for a total of 26 weeks. 1st Year – Foundation and Familiarisation On‑the‑job training in various departments Soft skills and management training 2 weeks familiarisation at HAECO 2nd Year – Industry Immersion Continuous Professional Development activities Rotations in various departments to understand HAESL operations Secondment to aviation division under Swire Group Companies (12 weeks) 3rd Year – Global Exposure Engage in a 40‑week assignment within one department to build operational expertise Secondment to Rolls‑Royce in the UK (12 weeks) Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Air Transportation, Management or a related discipline. Exceptional organisation and self‑motivation, with a strong commitment to personal and professional growth. Strong interpersonal skills to thrive in collaborative teams and foster positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders. Analytical and problem‑solving proficiency, with a keen aptitude for tackling complex challenges with innovative solutions. Bilingual communication skills, fluent in English and Chinese, facilitating effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
