This role blends high-impact project finance with critical financial reporting, working closely with project managers and senior leadership to provide the financial insights needed to support our most important initiatives. Responsibilities ERP & System Implementation – Play a key role in the finance workstream for ERP implementation and other financial software enhancement projects. Assist with business case development, track project budgets, support data migration, and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) for finance modules. Process Improvement & Change Management – Analyze existing financial processes to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Propose, model, and support the implementation of process changes to improve accuracy, speed, and controls. Project Analysis & Tracking – Conduct variance analysis on project budgets (budget vs. actual), track project milestones, and prepare status reports for key stakeholders and senior management. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Act as a liaison between the finance department and other teams (Product, Development, Operations) to ensure project requirements are met and financial objectives are aligned. Reporting & Compliance – Streamline reporting processes and enhance the quality of financial data and insights. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects as requested by the finance leadership team. Qualifications 3-6 years of relevant experience in finance (corporate finance, project finance, or FP&A). Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and complex formulas. Strong PowerPoint skills for clear and impactful presentations. Project management experience – be able to steer projects independently. Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with a high degree of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely. A proactive, self‑starting individual who is eager to learn and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Preferred Progress towards a professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA). Experience with Xero or other accounting software. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or BI tools (Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau). Prior experience in the Software or SaaS industry.
