Team Lead, Data Science Our growing team is looking for a Team Lead, Data Science This is an entry‑level position in data science teams' management to create opportunities for leadership growth in the data science management career path. It is a great opportunity to get meaningful management experience while staying close to technical / hands‑on work. What you’ll do : Provide technical advice to their team members responsible for Data Science work and studies (Data Extraction / Enrichment, Natural Language Processing, process optimization and other data science techniques and models). Formulate appropriate recommendations after analyzing and reviewing analysis produced by team members to improve the performance of products and services. Supervise the development of models, the analysis and the researches to achieve business targets. Support management team to help implement strategy, priorities, and actions. Ensure clear and effective communication with all stakeholders outside the team to facilitate delivery. Manage the evaluation, development and coaching of their team members to achieve the strategic objectives of the company, while creating a highly engaged workforce, where employees contribute to the success of the team and company. Coordinate their team’s activities by organizing, planning and controlling the work. Actively participate to the execution of the team projects and mandates. Oversee the day to day of junior members and interns of a small team; coordinate, plan and monitor their activities. Represent the data science function in various working groups / committees and act as a point of contact with other business units. What you need : Bachelor's, Master's or PhD, in artificial intelligence, data science, computer science, Earth science, mathematics, statistics or a related field. 5-8 years in a data science role. Project Management skills. Coaching experience with Data scientist. Strong organization skills. Strong communication skills. Must be eligible to work in Hong Kong.
