Senior Operations Associate - High Frequency Trading Firm Job Description: Senior Operations Associate - High Frequency Trading Firm Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Operations Associate to join the high-performance trading operations team of our client. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational activities that support our firm's high-frequency trading strategies. You will work closely with our trading, risk management, and technology teams to ensure seamless front-to-back office operations. Key Responsibilities Manage the firm's trade lifecycle processes, including trade execution, settlement, reconciliation, and dispute resolution Monitor and optimize trading infrastructure performance to support high-volume, low-latency trading Oversee the preparation and review of daily P&L, risk, and other operational reports Serve as a subject matter expert for trading operations, providing guidance and training to more junior team members Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and scalability Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex operational issues and mitigate risks Maintain strong relationships with counterparties, exchanges, and other industry partners Ensure all operations activities adhere to firm policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices Qualifications 4+ years of experience in a senior operations role at a high-frequency or electronic trading firm Deep understanding of equity, futures, and/or FX trading operations workflows Proficient in SQL, Python & VBA Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities Familiarity with financial regulations, compliance, and operational risk management Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field If you are a detail-oriented, adaptable operations professional with a passion for supporting cutting-edge trading strategies, we encourage you to apply.
