Java Analyst Programmer – Leading Financial Institution - J12312 We are partnering with multiple top-tier financial institutions, including investment banks, brokerage, and consultancy firms, for their trading OMS Java developer hiring plans. What You'll Be Doing This is a hands-on development role where you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle. Analyzing business requirements & documentation: Interact with front office users, including traders, quant, and researchers, to gather requirements, analyze feasibility, and update and maintain technical documentation throughout the enhancement cycle to accurately record all changes and logic. Hands-On Java Development: Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code to modify and enhance existing programs based on detailed functional and technical specifications, ensuring adherence to coding best practices and version control. Champion Code Quality: Design and execute comprehensive unit tests and support System Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure your code is robust, reliable, and meets all quality criteria before advancing to the next stage. Drive Test Automation: Proactively identify opportunities and adopt modern tools, such as Katalon, to build and implement automated regression tests, improving the efficiency and accuracy of the testing process. Regional Team Collaboration: Work closely with tech teams located across Asia. What You'll Bring We are looking for a proactive developer with strong technical acumen and a collaborative spirit. Experience & Qualifications A university degree or professional qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. At least 2 years of solid, hands-on experience in Java application development. Experience within the financial services, banking (FSI), or a similar regulated industry is a significant advantage. Core Technical Skills Skilful coding experience in Java/J2EE for multi-tier or Microservices architectures. Strong proficiency with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Security, MVC) Solid skills in Oracle databases and PL/SQL programming. Prior experience with test automation tools and working in TDD environment is a strong plus. Personal Attributes Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese. An assertive and active team player with excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. A strong sense of responsibility, impeccable integrity, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
