Technical support and system administration of Appraisal and Accessioning server, Pre-ingestion server in GRS. Duties Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full‑time second to serve the CSO; Provide system enhancement, technical advice, support and maintenance for the Digital Repository (DR) in GRS. Collaborate with DPO, the contractor and users to perform periodic system version upgrades for the DR; resolve system upgrade issues as well as provide technical support during the User Acceptance Test. Provide support in conducting Departmental Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA) exercise by external contractor for the DR such as update documentation for their review, assist them to perform security vulnerabilities scanning and follow up to fix the security risks identified, and vetting the SRAA reports, etc. Provide technical assistance in preparing the funding paper for the online transfer of electronic records from the Central Electronic Recordkeeping System (CERKS) of B/Ds to the DR. Provide system enhancement, support and migration of virtualization infrastructure for the pilot Transfer Platform and Security Protection Server, the Appraisal and Accessioning server, and the Pre‑ingestion server. Provide technical support and advice on IT issues such as IT security control, procurement, upgrading of IT hardware, software and equipment. Perform duties related to electronic records management, etc. Perform technical duties related to knowledge repository. Experience Yrs of Total Post‑Quali Exp: 7.0 Yrs of Relevant Exp: 5.0 Requirements Rich experience in project implementation and maintenance support. Knowledge on cloud solution, Apache Tomcat, Virtual Machine (VM), Microsoft SQL Server, PHP programming, Unix/Linux Shell Scripting. Experience in ERKS implementation is an added advantage. 7 years experience with 5 years in similar capacity. Technical Skills: At least 5 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM). At least 5 years' experience in Tomcat Application Server (TOM). At least 5 years' experience in Unix/Linux Shell Scripting (ULS). At least 5 years' experience in Apache Web Server (AWS). At least 5 years' experience in Microsoft SQL Server (MSS). 3 years' experience in PHP programming (PHP) is an advantage. 3 years' experience in XML (XML) is an advantage. 2 years' experience in Web Services (WSV) is an advantage. Non‑technical Skills: At least 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV). At least 1 year's experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS). At least 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (MGP). 1 year's experience in Government procurement/disposal procedures (GPD) is an advantage. Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent. At least 7 years' post‑qualification experience in which at least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
