DevOps Engineer

We are a leading SaaS company providing robust solutions to a diverse client base. You will build and scale our Cloud/Edge infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, champion GitOps, and automate processes. By bridging development, QA, product, and operations, you will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our core platform and customer solutions. Responsibilities Edge & Cloud Infrastructure: Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure across public clouds (AWS/GCP) and Edge networks. Specifically, configure and optimize Cloudflare services (WAF, CDN, Workers, DNS) to ensure low latency and high availability for global players. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitOps principles (i.e. ArgoCD) to automate software deployment, testing, ensuring rapid and safe release cycles. Container Orchestration: Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s), ensuring resource efficiency and system resilience. Monitoring and Alerting: Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) to proactively identify and resolve issues, ensuring system health and performance. Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency. Reliability & On-Call: Participate in a rotational on-call schedule to provide 24/7 support for critical production systems, ensuring high uptime and rapid incident resolution. Security: Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and applications, including DDoS protection, vulnerability management and access control. Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure applications are designed for scalability, reliability, and ease of deployment. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues in production and non-production environments. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 2+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment. Strong experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP). Deep understanding of DNS routing principles and proven experience managing and configuring Cloudflare services (DNS, CDN, Security features). Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible). Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions). Solid working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes administration and deployment concepts. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack). Experience with version control systems (Git). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Experience with database management (SQL/NoSQL). Familiarity with message queues and asynchronous communication patterns (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Bonus Points Experience with configuring Cloudflare Workers or similar serverless edge computing platforms. Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes CKA/CKAD). Experience with real-time data processing or stream processing technologies. Understanding of data security and privacy best practices. Contributions to open-source projects.
