Studio Ella has the exciting opportunity to join our growing team based in Hong Kong. We are seeking a talented, proactive and dynamic designers with professional experience in the luxury design sector. You will be responsible for developing interior architecture and FF&E design concepts, technical drawings, specifications and managing the day-to-day delivery of multiple projects simultaneously. You will work closely with the director to ensure the successful development of all aspects of the design. Requirements Formal training in Interior Design/Architecture. Professional experience in luxury residential and commercial design. Highly creative and a strong passion for design. Excellent all-round design skills and the competence to lead and develop concepts successfully into feasible interior solutions. AUTO CAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and 3D proficiency. Outstanding presentation and communication skills are highly beneficial. Efficient, proactive, and solid organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the confidence to present both internally and to clients. An exceptional eye for detail and knowledge of materiality and suppliers. Ability to deliver detailed drawing packages and adequate technical understanding to coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and contractors. Experience in working on projects from concept through to completion and a good understanding of the design phases and processes. Solid experience in handling clients and an eagerness to take on responsibility, ensuring projects are delivered seamlessly and to the highest quality. Fluent in written and spoken English (Cantonese + Mandarin a bonus). Responsibilities Space planning and handling the delivery of detailed drawing packages and presentations. Developing conceptual ideas and communicating through the production of hand sketches, drawings, and 3D models. Designing and developing bespoke joinery, furniture, and lighting in line with a project brief and functional requirements. Sourcing and procuring FF&E, artwork, and accessories and producing detailed specifications. Independently handling commercial/residential projects from design concept to construction. Independently manage workload and deadlines, ensuring submissions are aligned with the project deliverables and schedule. Attend regular internal, design coordination and site meetings, effectively workshopping and troubleshooting complex issues with consultants and suppliers to find the best solutions. Review and respond to submittals by sub-contractors effectively and efficiently.
