UDL Group is a multi‑disciplinary engineering group with extensive track records in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. We, through our subsidiaries, are approved contractors for Public Works under Port Works and Site Formation Category in Group B or Group C. We also offer specialist services to clients and main contractors including design and construction of airfield structural works; management of land fill reception facilities and marine sediment disposal pits; marine transportation/engineering; aids to navigation and mooring; precast concrete and steelwork products supply and installation including very heavy structures; and recycling of construction and demolition materials. We are now looking for high caliber management and engineering staff to cope with our continuing expansion of operations. For more information of our group operation, please visit us at Responsibilities Responsible for the business sale of precast element of our mainland factory undertaking with the business turnover, direct and indirect cost, material and profit to build up our price for submission to clients. Responsible for overall management of contractual and commercial issues for civil engineering tender and construction projects. Manage the commercial claims issue, supervise the preparation of pre‑qualification submissions, commercial review of tenders, sub‑contract procurement, and related documentation. Oversee the project cash flow by timely, complete, and proper submission of interim application. Develop and manage project commercial strategy. Effective management of risks and opportunities. Provide contractual, financial, and commercial advice to the project team. Supervise, approve and endorse claim submissions. Requirements Degree or above in Business management, Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Minimum 12 years of relevant project experience of which 8 years with precast element or pipejacking contractors in a leading commercial role for site formation or civil engineering contract. Experience in contract administration, claims preparation, with commercial and legal/arbitration knowledge, familiar with various forms of conditions of contracts, cost control, planning, and strategic management.
