About the Opportunity At OKX, our Global Visual Design Team is at the heart of shaping the design language across all of our global markets, ensuring a seamless, modern, and pixel-perfect experience on both Web and App. We don't just focus on aesthetics – we're passionate about creating intuitive, delightful moments that foster emotional connections, build trust, and amplify the OKX brand ethos. Our designs go beyond just complementing content and flows. We simplify complex crypto concepts, making both CeFi and DeFi experiences more accessible, engaging, and user-friendly. As a member of our internationally diverse visual design team, you'll work closely with talented Product Designers, Brand Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers from some of the leading tech companies in the world. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to craft dynamic, engaging user experiences that strengthen the connection between our products and users. By applying your expertise in creative design, you'll play a key part in shaping our visual identity and pushing the boundaries of innovation to drive both user engagement and brand impact. What You’ll Be Doing We're looking for a Mid–Senior Visual Designer to bring bold ideas and brilliant execution to our APAC VD team. If you thrive at the intersection of tech, art direction, and future-facing digital experiences, and you've ever explained a blockchain concept using metaphors or motion graphics, this is your stage. In this role, you'll not only uphold our high bar for visual quality, but help redefine what great product design looks like in the crypto world. Your designs will speak fluently to both seasoned Web3 natives and curious first-timers. You'll work on a wide array of projects: Art Direction – Set the visual tone for new product lines and major features. You’ll define key visuals, shape design systems, and build scalable, forward-thinking design identities that feel uniquely OKX. Product Illustration – Craft clear, smart, and emotionally resonant vector illustrations using existing style guides. Your metaphors should turn abstract crypto concepts into “ah-ha” moments. Think: wallets with soul and yield farms with charm. Iconography – Design elegant, purposeful icons that integrate seamlessly into our UI and communicate at a glance. Consistency, clarity, and craft are key. Brand Evolution – Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the OKX product visual identity, bringing a sharp eye and bold ideas to everything from micro-interactions to macro-brand refreshes. Creative Collaboration – Partner across disciplines, product managers, engineers, brand teams, to ensure that our visual storytelling aligns with strategic goals and elevates the user experience across touchpoints. Trendspotting & Innovation – Stay plugged into global design trends and next-gen tools (AI, 3D, interactive design). Champion innovation and drive design processes that are smarter, faster, and more inspiring. What We Look For In You Visual Design Expertise – 3–5+ years in graphic design, vector illustration, or visual storytelling. Your portfolio should show both breadth (UI, brand, campaigns) and depth (detail, originality, craft). Brand & System Thinking – Deep understanding of visual systems, typography, color theory, and how to design consistently within a brand voice, while still evolving it. Cross-Media Talent – Skilled in illustration, layout, iconography, and ideally some experience with motion or 3D. Team Spirit & Communication – Clear communicator and proactive collaborator, able to explain design thinking and navigate feedback gracefully in a fast-paced team. Bilingual Advantage – English + Mandarin proficiency, this helps with smoother collaboration across our global product org. Nice to Haves 3D Software Proficiency – Familiarity with tools like Blender, C4D, Maya is a plus. Bonus if you've used 3D to prototype or visualize in product or brand contexts. Crypto / Gaming / Tech Industry Experience – You've worked in fast-moving, innovative industries and can bring that energy and mindset to OKX.
