About the Company It all started with an aspiration to redefine and elevate the bakery landscape. Bakehouse by Grégoire Michaud is home to the city’s finest European‑style baked goods and sourdough bread, all handmade on‑site every day with the finest ingredients. Founded in 2013, Chef Grégoire Michaud started the company as a wholesale bakery specialising in supplying handcrafted sourdough and fine pastries to kitchens across the city. This humble wholesale bakery quickly shook up the industry and received overwhelming support from esteemed players, including Michelin‑starred restaurants, luxury five‑star hotels and prestigious airlines. This success shed light on Hong Kong’s unfulfilled desire for quality bread. Chef Michaud felt the call to make artisanal bread more accessible to Hongkongers and nurture the city’s appreciation of artisanal baked goods. In 2018, the critically acclaimed neighbourhood bakery, Bakehouse, opened its doors in Wanchai and took the bakery scene by storm in no time. Now, with seven shops and wholesale available, Bakehouse has set the standard for artisanal bakeries and built a strong community joined by a passion for the finest baked goods. Responsibilities Lead the Warehouse and Packing teams to ensure efficient daily operations Foster strong relationships and collaborate with logistics partners and internal stakeholders for daily logistics coordination Create and implement strategic inventory management plans to optimise stock levels Supervise the scheduling of inventory processes to guarantee timely deliveries and effective resource utilisation Develop and maintain efficient floor plans to enhance space utilisation and workflow Facilitate training sessions for team members on standard operating procedures, food safety, workplace safety, and preventive measures Evaluate daily operations and plan staffing accordingly to ensure smooth workflow Qualifications Diploma or above in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline Experience in Food Production industry is highly advantaged Supervisory experience is required At least 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations; experience in FMCG, Retail, or Food Production industry is highly desirable Conversational level in Cantonese & English; fluency in Mandarin is a plus Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations is essential Knowledge in ISO 22000 is a plus Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proficient in MS Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Assistant Warehouse Manager Benefits 5 Days Work + 2 Days Off Quarterly Discretionary Bonus 14 Days Statutory Holiday Full Paid Sick Leave Medical Insurance Staff Discount Referral Bonus Paid Meal Hour On‑Job Training We offer a competitive remuneration package with comprehensive fringe benefits to the right candidate.
