From our vibrant Sheung Wan studio on Hollywood Road, we’re seeking a passionate Intermediate to Senior Interior Designer with 5+ years of experience and proven expertise in the design and execution of luxury and bespoke hospitality projects—such as high‑end hotels, restaurants, bars, or ultra‑luxury residences—to join our Hong Kong team full‑time. You’ll play a pivotal role in leading and executing landmark projects for NCDA, including the Mandarin Oriental Hangzhou (Lobby, Guest Rooms, Suites, Presidential Suites, and four restaurants and bars, opening 2026), a new luxurious shopping mall in Dubai, Deep Water Pavilia (Hong Kong’s ultra‑luxury residential landmark launched in 2025), two restaurants at a Hong Kong iconic landmark shopping mall, and four luxurious residences. If you’re a creative, detail‑oriented designer with a track record of delivering exceptional, client‑focused luxury spaces in a collaborative, dynamic environment, join us to redefine the future of design. Key Responsibilities Lead and contribute to all project phases: design research, conceptual and schematic design, design development, construction documentation, bidding, and on‑site execution, with a focus on luxury hospitality and residential projects. Develop 3D models, renderings, and presentations using tools like Rhino, 3ds Max, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite to bring NCDA’s visionary designs to life, ensuring seamless integration of bespoke elements. Collaborate on NCDA’s lead design projects, including: Mandarin Oriental Hangzhou: Leading the design of luxurious guest rooms, suites, presidential suites, and four innovative restaurants and bars for a 2026 opening near the UNESCO World Heritage West Lake, blending heritage with modern elegance. Dubai Mall: Creating bold, beautiful retail interiors for a luxurious shopping experience. Deep Water Pavilia: Overseeing bespoke interiors for Hong Kong’s ultra‑luxury residential landmark in Wong Chuk Hang, launched in 2025, with sea‑view apartments emphasizing sustainable luxury and bespoke details. Work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to align designs with project goals, budgets, and timelines, ensuring NCDA’s storytelling ethos—seen in projects like Louis Vuitton exhibitions and Dreamscape—shines through in every luxury detail. Conduct site visits, source premium materials, and coordinate projects in Hong Kong and potentially internationally, drawing on the innovative approaches of Timber House and Artisan Lab. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated expertise in the design and execution of luxury and bespoke hospitality projects (e.g., high‑end hotels, restaurants, bars) or ultra‑luxury residences; experience in international or award‑winning projects is highly desirable. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign; familiarity with 3ds Max and AI design tools a plus. Strong creative vision, problem‑solving skills, and technical expertise, with a proven ability to translate client needs into evocative, site‑specific luxury designs, as exemplified in NCDA’s Louis Vuitton, Dreamscape, and Chapel Residence projects. Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluent English required; Cantonese and Mandarin highly desirable. Hong Kong permanent resident or eligible to work in Hong Kong; immediate availability preferred. Passion for bespoke design, storytelling, and creating spaces that inspire, as seen in Timber House and Artisan Lab’s innovative developments.
