Responsibilities Establish business relationship and maintain high level of exposure for the hotel by developing and maintaining relationships with corporate and group clients Execute sales action plans, attend trade shows, conventions and promotional events for MICE markets, and organize familiarization site inspection trips Identify new business opportunities and enhance sales on groups and events to achieve company’s goals Respond to enquiries, work on proposals, presentation and conduct site inspection to clients in a timely and professional manner Actively source new accounts and develop existing accounts that will meet the yield objective of the hotel from these market segments Assist the DOS in developing strategic sales plans, detailing sales distribution plans, trade shows and other promotional opportunities in order to meet the hotel’s overall strategic plan Requirements Degree / Diploma holder in Hospitality Management or relevant discipline Minimum 5 years’ experience in hospitality industry, with at least 2 years of experience in managerial position Good knowledge of market situation and able to react promptly with tactics Familiar with MS Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing, Opera will be an asset Excellent command of written and spoken English.
