We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled System Analyst / Senior Application Programmer to join the Administrative Application Services Section. This crucial role is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining the University's core administrative systems , specifically those used by the HR and Finance offices . Key Responsibilities and Duties The appointee will be a member of the Administrative Application Services Section, responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting the University’s administrative systems specific for HR and Finance use. Key duties include: SDLC Collaboration: Work closely with the development team on the full system development life cycle , including the development, maintenance, and enhancement of existing administrative applications. Business Analysis: Communicate directly with HR and Finance business users to perform comprehensive requirement gathering and detailed business needs analysis . Full-Stack Development: Design and develop robust, scalable application components across the full stack: Backend: Develop microservice containers to efficiently call backend functions and data, utilizing Java (J2EE, Spring Boot) and Node.js (Express.js) . Database & Integration: Implement and optimize procedures, functions, and packages for Relational Databases (Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL ) and develop RESTful APIs . Business Intelligence (BI): Develop and implement BI solutions, leveraging SAP BusinessObjects and Oracle BIEE for reporting and data analysis. Documentation: Produce and maintain comprehensive system documentation throughout the project life cycle, including coding, testing, and debugging programs. Environment Management: Utilize and maintain diverse development and deployment environments (OpenShift, IBM WebSphere, MS Windows Server, Nintex K2 ). Other Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the section.
