Application Support Analyst

Add expected salary to your profile for insights We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Application Support Analyst to provide technical support, maintenance, and enhancement coordination for our suite of internal business applications. The ideal candidate is familiar with retail application, strong problem-solving abilities, and the communication skills needed to bridge the gap between business users and development teams. Key Responsibilities Provide level 1 and 2 technical support for internal applications including Point-of-Sale (POS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and e-commerce platforms built on .NET and/or PHP. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application issues reported by end users; escalated complex issues to development teams as needed with clear documentation. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document support requests, enhancement needs, and bug reports. Perform system integration monitoring and analysis, identifying failures or delays in data exchange between internal and third-party systems (e.g., ERP, payment gateways, logistics platforms). Conduct data reconciliation tasks across integrated systems to ensure accuracy and consistency Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities—including test case preparation, issue tracking, and validation of fixes. Maintain up-to-date system documentation, including known issues, workarounds, user guides, and change logs. Work closely with developers and IT operations to ensure smooth deployment of patches, updates, and minor enhancements. Monitor application performance and stability; proactively identify recurring issues and recommend long‑term solutions. Participate in ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and user experience. Requirements Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in retail application is an advantage Knowledge in .NET (C#, ASP.NET) and/or PHP is an advantage Basic SQL is a plus Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to understand business workflows and translate user needs into actionable support tasks.
