Serving clients across Real Estate and Resources they operate in over 100 offices globally and have built a reputation on quality, delivering better outcomes for their clients. Areas of specialisation include: project management, programme management, commercial & cost management and advisory services from the inception of a project through to completion and beyond. With 2021 set to be a busy year we are actively looking for an Associate / Associate Director - Cost Management to join their successful Hong Kong team. Job Description: Oversee cost plans and contract documents including budgetary estimates & bills of quants Demonstrated experience across all aspects of cost management on a range of projects from feasibility studies to final accounts. Advise the client at project conception, set the strategy with cost advice for different approaches Motivate the team, driving positive client outcomes to meet deadlines Streamline the project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings Be a leading interface between the client and other consultants, at all project stages Develop new business opportunities with new and existing clients Prepare tender documentation, analyse, and prepare tender reports, review contractor valuations and other relevant documents Challenge project requirements, in order to find creative solutions on behalf of clients Qualifications: Degree qualified in quantity surveying, cost management or similar disciplines HKIS or RPS qualified with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience within the public sector in Hong Kong Demonstrated experience on public sector projects in Hong Kong Fantastic business acumen and strong communication skills, with the ability to drive outcomes on behalf of clients, develop new business, leverage current opportunities, and coordinate with construction and design teams to meet deadlines and deliverables Organised and detail oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese.
