Description Teach in Hong Kong PYP Coordinator for a brand new school August 2026 start. In its opening year, the school will enrol Year 1–3 students across 4–5 classes, and we are searching for an inspiring and experienced PYP Coordinator to help lead this extraordinary beginning. Qualifications A recognized teaching qualification and significant experience in international primary education. A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a PYP Coordinator, PYP Lead Teacher, or curriculum leader. Deep, up-to-date knowledge of the IB PYP framework, inquiry pedagogy, and best international practices. A proven track record of supporting, coaching, and developing teachers. Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to launch new initiatives and manage change. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, relationship-driven leadership style. Experience in a start-up school environment (an advantage, but not required). Fluency in English; additional languages, including Mandarin, are a bonus. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of the PYP across Year 1–3. Ensure the programme is aligned with IB standards and practices from day one. Guide teachers in planning high-quality units of inquiry and creating authentic learning experiences. Facilitate professional learning, coaching, and collaborative planning sessions. Support the creation of school-wide policies, assessment systems, and curriculum documentation. Serve as the bridge between the IB, school leadership, teachers, and parents. Champion a warm, inclusive, inquiry-rich school culture.
