Fixed Income/Bond Trader; Structured Product Trader; AVP-ED G00561 Responsibilities Manage trading book risk exposures and ensure all activities adhere to internal policies, trading limits, and legal/compliance regulations. Engage in market-making activities within the secondary bond market, providing cash bond quotes and enhancing market liquidity for clients. Deliver competitive pricing and execution for client transactions involving foreign exchange and interest rate products. Collaborate closely with the sales team on market developments and jointly pursue new business opportunities. Participate proactively in trading to generate profitable outcomes; regularly prepare and submit reports on trading performance and market conditions. Such other duties as shall from time to time be directed by your superiors. Professional Skills & Qualifications Must possess or be immediately eligible to apply for SFC RA1 and RA4 licenses. Minimum of 5 years’ direct experience in fixed income trading. Solid analytical aptitude and advanced computer proficiency, with proven experience using Microsoft Office applications. University degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or a related business field. Exceptional organizational and communication abilities. Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin is a key requirement). Thorough understanding of financial market products and relevant regulatory compliance standards. Key Accountabilities Structuring and trading of fixed income structured products; Building of system and business platforms for the development of fixed income structured products business; Assist Structuring and trading or fixed income structured products; Such other duties as shall from time to time be directed by your superiors. Skills & Experience 8+ years of trading and structuring experience in fixed income structured products; candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage; Degree Holder or above in Finance/Economics or related subject from a renowned university; with a recognized professional qualification (CFA,FRM or equivalent) preferred; Strong product knowledge in fixed income structured products and strategic insight on the financial markets; Good spoken and written Chinese and English, Including Mandarin; Strong analytical and computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel. #J-18808-Ljbffr
