Director of Investor Relations

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Investor Relations professional with strong financial modeling skills and a solid understanding of the digital asset ecosystem. This role will focus on Asia-based investors and requires excellent bilingual (Mandarin & English) communication abilities. Responsibilities Lead the quarterly financial communication process, including earnings press releases, management scripts, Q&A documents, and preparation for investor calls. Support financial modeling and performance forecasting; contribute to quarterly and annual guidance based on company performance, industry trends, and strategic priorities. Serve as the primary contact for Asia-based investors; maintain and expand relationships with sell-side analysts and institutional investors across the region. Articulate the company’s value proposition, business model, financial performance, and competitive advantages clearly and compellingly to investors. Proactively expand the investor base and deepen engagement with existing shareholders, focusing on long-term, high-quality capital. Plan and execute investor activities across Asia, including conferences, analyst meetings, non-deal roadshows, and investor days. Prepare and maintain high-quality investor materials, including IR decks, company overviews, and board presentations. Conduct peer and market analysis—especially within mining, exchanges, Web3, fintech, and crypto-related sectors—to support valuation assessment and strategic decision-making. Provide management and the board with capital market insights, including investor sentiment, regional investment trends, and sector-specific developments. For the Hong Kong–based function, drive capital engagement and strengthen the company’s influence across Asian capital markets. Collaborate closely with Finance, Strategy, Legal, Communications, and other internal teams to support cross-functional projects. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in capital markets or investor relations. Preferred backgrounds include: Crypto exchanges, mining companies, Web3 firms US-listed technology or fintech companies Sell-side equity research (TMT / fintech / digital assets) Investment banking analysts covering digital assets or related sectors Strong understanding of Asia-based institutional investors (Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore) and regional market dynamics. Solid financial analysis and modeling capabilities, including 3-statement modeling and valuation methods (DCF, comparable analysis, SOTP). Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fields; MBA, CFA, or CPA is a plus. Excellent bilingual communication skills (English & Mandarin), both written and verbal. Strong market awareness of capital markets, technology trends, and the digital asset sector. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment with strong project management capability. Role is based in Hong Kong; candidates may be based in Shenzhen or Hong Kong.
