Manager – Artificial Intelligence

As a senior staff in our technical team, you’ll be responsible for leading junior data scientists and working with data and software engineers to develop data science, optimization, generative AI models and AI agents, and deliver them as applications to bring impact. Your work will involve understanding the business cases, designing and developing advanced data science models, generative AI applications/AI agents and other new ways to apply AI and data science, maintaining the model quality and efficiency via AgentOs/MLOps. You will also work with users and our Business Analysis team to bring AI into real-life applications to improve our business process efficiency and bring better experience to customers, and to grow the team capability in the long run. You will Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify opportunities for AI applications Manage data science/AI model & application development from conceptualization to completion Lead the team or vendors to analyse data and formulate data science models to solve business problems, like customer analytics, product recommendation, etc. Develop generative AI applications for knowledge management, processes and analysis automation Work with the team to build AI agent development platform and end to end agentic applications Apply DevOps and AgentOps to deploy, maintain and monitor the models and applications Provide advice on how AI can be adopted in various use cases as the subject matter expert Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and data science and integrate new technologies into our existing systems and processes Requirements Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines. Research degrees are preferred 8 years or above related working experience in areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analysis 4 years or above hands‑on experience in design, development, and deployment of machine learning or AI solutions as products Passionate about AI applications in daily business environment Solid understanding of different machine learning algorithms and use cases in retail industry Solid experiences in SQL, Python, libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit‑learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, etc. Deep understanding and practical experience of language models based on Transformer architecture Familiar with generative AI model adoption, RAG, open‑source generative AI frameworks (such as LangChain, LangGraph, LangServe, LangSmith, n8n, etc.) Familiar with fine‑tuning methods for large language models like Lora and p‑tuning, RAG workflow orchestration, agent development experience, and embedding deployment Familiar with AgentOps, MLOps, version control and agile methodology Knowledge of optimization algorithms will be a plus Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to think strategically and analytically Strong presentation and communication skills We offer 5‑day‑work week with competitive remuneration packages to the right candidate.
