Senior Fabric Merchandiser We are partnering with a global apparel and accessories sourcing company with over 40 years of expertise, offering end‑to‑end solutions from design to production. With a strong presence across Asia and the US, they pride themselves on agility, innovation, and trusted partnerships with leading brands. Location: Hong Kong office. Responsibilities Manage woven garment development from sampling through bulk production, ensuring quality and technical standards are met. Negotiate with garment factories to optimize cost efficiency and lead times. Collaborate with design, technical, and fabric teams to align on fit, trims, washes, and brand specifications. Monitor supplier capabilities and market trends (fabric types, styles, pricing) to inform sourcing strategies. Review tech packs, samples, and approvals to ensure alignment with customer requirements. Serve as the main liaison between overseas offices, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth communication and execution. Provide market insights on competitors and innovations in the woven apparel category. Requirements 6+ years of experience in woven apparel sourcing/production, with strong technical knowledge of woven fabrics. Degree holder or equivalent practical experience in apparel merchandising. Detail‑oriented, proactive, and skilled in cross‑functional coordination. Fluent in English (written/spoken); proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and analytical mindset. Team player with excellent negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
