We’re expanding fast and are now looking for a skilled SeniorFrontendEngineer (Next.js+TypeScript) to join our engineering team in HongKong . You’ll be responsible for delivering a high‑performing e‑commerce website with Stripe integration, built on Next.js and deployed on Vercel. Our backend engineers own the NestJS backend—your focus will be building a clean, scalable, and performant frontend integrated with PayloadCMS and externalAPIs. ReadBeforeApplying You do not have proven, hands‑on experience with Next.js (AppRouter&RSC) in production. You do not have strong, practical experience with TypeScript on the frontend (4+years). You have not worked on frontend payment flows using Stripe in production. You cannot demonstrate practical experience with PayloadCMS (or a similar headlessCMS) in real projects. You have not built mobile‑responsive user interfaces for production. You are not comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. WhatYou’llBeDoing You will take full ownership of the frontend delivery for a global e‑commerce platform, working closely with backend engineers and product teams to ensure seamless API and CMS integration. CoreResponsibilities Develop, test, and maintain a Next.js+TypeScript e‑commerce frontend (deployed on Vercel). Integrate Stripe payments (PaymentElement,Checkout,ApplePay,GooglePay,3DSflows). Implement PayloadCMS integration, including live previews, block‑based content, and revalidation triggers. Ensure high performance and SEO (CoreWebVitals, structureddata,i18nrouting). Build responsive and accessibleUI with TailwindCSS, followingWCAG2.1 fundamentals. Implement robustAPI integration and data caching (SWR/ReactQuery). Handle forms and validation with ReactHookForm+Zod/Yup. Write and maintain unit,e2e, andperformance tests (Jest/RTL,Playwright,LighthouseCI). Monitor and improve quality (Sentry,GA4,A/Btesting,featureflags). Apply modern security and bestpractices (XSS/CSRFmitigation, secureheaders, secretsmanagement). RequiredSkills&Experience Strong hands‑on experience with Next.js (AppRouter&RSC) in production. Proficiency in React+TypeScript with modernhooks and statemanagement (4+years). Experience integrating Stripe frontend paymentflows in production. Proven work with PayloadCMS and content‑driven routing (or verysimilar headlessCMSexperience). Strong grounding in performance,SEO,and accessibilityfundamentals. Experience writing and maintaining unit ande2etests. Solid understanding of frontendsecuritypractices. Experience deploying and managing apps onVercel (environments,previews,edgefunctions). Familiarity with Prisma/Postgresconcepts and Rediscaching. Experience with large‑scalei18n and localisation. Exposure to growth and analytics tools (PostHog,GTMserver‑side,affiliatetracking). Knowledge of customertoolingintegrations(Crisp/Intercom).
