  • The Chinese Asset Management firm with specialism in MPF product is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager of Marketing Research and Insight to join and to lead the dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading marketing research initiatives, analysing market insights and trends, and providing strategic insights to support front office decisions.

Your new role

  • Lead and manage marketing research initiatives, to gather and analyse data on market conditions, trends, and opportunities in a marketing sense.
  • Manage and execute brand health tracker, quantitative and qualitative marketing research studies to understand market dynamics, provide actionable insights and strategic pointers for company's marketing direction.
  • Develop comprehensive market analysis reports and presentations for senior management and to discuss potential sales ideas.
  • Monitor, track and evaluate marketing performance metrics, and prepare regular reports to optimise corporate strategies.
  • Collaborate with investment teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Utilise advanced analytical tools and methodologies to interpret data and generate forecasts.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and their potential impact on the market.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts in research methodologies and best practices.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing research or a similar role within the financial services industry, either banks, insurance companies or asset management.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to interpret market data and trends to formulate the strategic business plan
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and platforms for content distribution, such as Morningstar etc.
  • Proficiency in Chinese and English communication.
  • Proficiency in Chinese Word processing
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
