Your role
Do you want to be part of the team that executes the Group Chief Information Security Office (CISO) Hub mandate in APAC? Do you have solid knowledge of risk frameworks, global control standards and looking to move into cyber and information security?

We are looking for someone like you to be based in Hong Kong:
• Stand-up and operate a regionally focused lean team that is part of the global CISO Hub team
• Oversee the ability of the Hong Kong Branch organization to maintain effective business activities in the face of cyber threats and within cyber and information security risk appetites
• Proactively ensure UBS has procedures in place to comply with Hong Kong and APAC current and emerging cyber and information security, legal and regulatory requirements and can demonstrate such for audit and regulatory exams
• Assist in responding to APAC and global client requests related to cyber and information security, review data and brief senior management
• Raise cybersecurity awareness and champion best practices in cybersecurity to internal and external stakeholders and partners
• Be willing to grow in skill and business practices as an individual and team also by identifying, reporting and implementing improvements within the scope of your work

Your team
You'll be working in the Group Chief Information Security Office (CISO) Hub APAC team and leading the Hong Kong location as its dedicated CISO. The CISO Hub vision is to protect, preserve, and prolong the value of UBS data and digital services, and enhance UBS's brand and competitiveness in a digitized world. The CISO Hub mission is to lead the management of all cyber threats and cyber risk across the Firm. To "protect the foundations and secure the future," CISO Hub serves two mission areas: cyber threat management and defense (understanding, detecting, and responding to threats), and cyber risk management and governance (setting priorities and preventing threats).

CISO Hub interacts with all levels within the organization, peers at other firms, and business partners to establish and maintain a strong and adaptive security posture that aligns with organizational risk tolerance, cyber and information security requirements, and our overall business strategy.

Your expertise
• Bachelor's degree in Computing, Information Systems Management or related subject area
• At least 12 years of IT and Cyber & Information Security experience, preferable in the Banking industry
• Relevant knowledge and hands-on experience in IT security risk assessment, cyber security, identity and access management, application and system security
• Good understanding of the local regulations including HKMA and SFC, as well as hands-on experience with the regulators
• Excellent communication skills including ability to communicate clearly and concisely to various levels, up to and including senior management
• Good understanding of IT systems, Cloud technologies and infrastructure along with the relevant security controls required to mitigate risk
• Successfully led Cyber or IT Security projects
• CISSP, CISM, CISA certifications or equivalent is essential
