  • Prepare and review statutory financial reports, banking returns, surveys, and disclosures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of banking returns and regulatory reports.
  • Regularly monitor and review internal policies and regulatory disclosure requirements.
  • Participate in projects aimed at process improvement and system enhancement to streamline reporting processes.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries from regulators and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Qualified Accountant with 6- 8 years of relevant experience in the banking industry.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, accounting standards, financial control frameworks, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in preparing statutory banking returns, capital reporting, and regulatory disclosures is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, with strong analytical skills and a good sense of control.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications; knowledge of VBA is an added advantage.
