The Opportunity
My client is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support their high-performance infrastructure for trading digital assets. In this pivotal role, you will be integral to building, deploying, and maintaining systems that execute millions of trades on both centralized and decentralized finance venues worldwide. You will tackle exciting challenges related to security, resilience, and operations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance global infrastructure with high performance and reliability.
• Oversee blockchain nodes and DeFi-related infrastructure.
• Fortify security protocols within a high-risk operational framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system design and DevOps processes.
• Develop internal tools and automation to meet infrastructure goals.
• Tune and troubleshoot trading applications while staying updated on system features and deployments.
• Provide guidance to developers to enhance application performance and reliability.

Who You Are
The ideal candidate will possess:

• Extensive familiarity with DeFi and cryptocurrencies, including working with RPC nodes and APIs.
• 5+ years of experience in SRE/DevOps, managing Linux systems in high-performance environments.
• Proficiency in cloud management using Terraform, particularly within AWS (Azure experience is a plus).
• Strong skills in Linux administration and configuration management using Ansible.
• A solid background in container management, deployment, and orchestration, with a strong grasp of Docker (Kubernetes experience is a bonus).
• Familiarity with TCP/IP and host-level networking.
• Extensive experience in Python and Bash, with knowledge of Javascript/Typescript or Go as a plus.
• A strong understanding of cloud security, IAM policies, and zero-trust principles.
