Overview



With a rapidly growing platform and an investment in growth in the region, this foreign corporate bank is seeking to hire a MD Credit Risk to review and approve large corporate banking credit applications focusing on the Greater China region.

Role Responsibilities

  • Review, analyse and approve Corporate Lending / credit applications of prospective large Corporate banking customers in Greater China within the delegated approval authority;
  • Collect and obtain relevant information and clarification for performing credit analysis and present to Group Credit Risk Department
  • Participate in customer visits jointly with the business unit upon request of business unit
  • Check the compliance of financial covenants upon receiving borrowers' financial statement from business unit and report the non-compliance to Department Head
  • Conduct due diligence checking for local beneficiaries/buyers/suppliers of credit customers
  • Prepare industries analysis and portfolio analysis
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by Group Head Office

Requirements

  • Degree holder preferably in Finance and Accounting
  • At least 18 years' experience in credit risk management and analysis for Large Corporates
  • Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) on Credit Risk Management (CRM) qualification is preferred
  • Strong financial and cash flow analysis skills
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and analysis report-writing skills
  • Strong knowledge of key credit risk indicators and economic factors impacting credit quality
  • Self-motivated, good team player and able to follow tight deadlines
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English
