Your role
You will be part of a team responsible for effectively coordinating and supporting the regulatory engagement of UBS with Hong Kong regulators HKMA/SFC. This includes:
• Manage and prepare for key supervisory meetings between UBS and HKMA/SFC or HK management with other core regulators, including FINMA, identifying key issues and outcomes of these meetings and ensuring actions are addressed promptly and effectively
• Manage supervisory exams by HKMA/SFC/FINMA on UBS Hong Kong, including identifying key issues, coordinating appropriate responses, and ensuring responsible parties properly track remedial actions
• Manage responses to regular and ad hoc regulatory requests on UBS from HKMA and SFC or other core regulators on UBS Hong Kong
• Collaborate with other regulatory managers regionally and globally, including collating management information, analyzing developments across jurisdictions to ensure consistency of approach and reporting on relevant developments for global meetings and reports
• Work on ad-hoc internal projects as necessary

Your team
Regulatory Relations sits in Regulatory Affairs of Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance (GCRG). Regulatory Relations promotes effective relationships with UBS's financial supervisors, coordinate UBS' supervisory engagement, and advises senior management on key supervisory themes. The HK Regulatory Relations team works closely with colleagues in other key locations of Switzerland, US, UK, EMEA and APAC.

Your expertise
• 3+ years of professional working experience in the financial services sector, preferably in any internationally active financial institution in a role (including a project management role) with exposure to regulatory matters
• Previously worked at a regulatory agency, particularly HKMA or SFC or have previous experience of managing regulatory interaction in a bank
• Experience in financial regulations and broad familiarity with the financial sector's regulatory landscape and developments and related concepts
• Excellent communication skills, interact well with stakeholders internally and externally
