The University now invites application for the following position:

Office of Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) - Executive Officer
(Ref:EO (PV/VPARO) 2025-03-28)Responsibilities
  • Provide all-round support to the Provost and Vice-President (Academic and Research) and/or his delegate in launching and implementing new research development initiatives.
  • Organize events and meetings to promote research among faculty members and researchers.
  • Maintain and update the website of the Office.
  • Handle research grant applications and project matters.
  • Process reimbursement claims and direct payment requests for research activities and projects.
  • Develop and maintain central databases for grant applications, ongoing projects and research publications, and compile statistical reports on research performance and activities.
  • Provide administrative support to University committees and other functions of the Office.
  • Take up ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Applicants Should
  • Possess a recognised university degree with at least 4 years of working experience, preferably in research grant administration and higher education sector.
  • Have excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Be highly attentive to details and have the ability to maintain accurate databases and records.
  • Possess good computer skills and have administrative abilities, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Be a good team player and able to work independently and efficiently.
