Overview

A well-established global bank is seeking to hire an Associate - Corporate Finance and M&A Execution.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support senior bankers for origination and execution of the Bank's activities across Asia in the area of Corporate Finance and M&A execution with the Bank's key corporate clients.
  • Contribution to the P&L through synergy profit generation.
  • Arranging or executing deals for the Bank's core corporate clients.
  • Develop internal stakeholder relationships with the Corporate Banking Relationship Managers.
  • Contribute to the deal flow generation by tracking the M&A activity in the region and presenting ideas and pitches.
  • Support the managers of the team in the execution of corporate finance transactions.
  • Preparation of pitch books.

Requirements

  • Academics from a reputable university.
  • 3-4 years of experience in the origination and execution of corporate acquisition financing and/or LBO financing.
  • Strong mathematical and financial modelling skills with ability to execute deals from start to end and experience across the whole credit process including credit analysis and modelling.
  • Familiar with legal (term sheet and documentation).
  • Involvement in transactions within a wide range of business industries and geographical regions.
  • Good understanding of capital market products, syndication, and ratings.
  • Strong communication skills in Mandarin and English.
