Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage general commercial legal activities with a focus on procurement and service agreements, working to secure the best interests of the company while fostering sustainable vendor relationships.
  • Handle Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and other confidentiality contracts, ensuring that all sensitive information is adequately protected in line with legal standards.
  • Provide strategic legal insights and compliance guidance for APAC operations, helping to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities in a highly dynamic regulatory environment.
Qualifications:
  • Must be qualified in the US or Hong Kong, with a robust understanding of the legal frameworks and business practices within these jurisdictions.
  • Requires 5-10 years of post-qualification experience in relevant fields, demonstrating a proven track record of success in managing complex legal issues in a business context.
Skills:
  • Legal expertise in Procurement: In-depth understanding of laws and regulations related to procurement necessary for negotiating and drafting agreements. This includes a keen ability to foresee potential legal issues and proactively address them in contract stipulations.
  • Service Agreement Knowledge: Skilled at crafting detailed service contracts that protect the company's interests while maintaining regulatory compliance. Ability to tailor agreements to suit the specific needs of the business and adapt to various transactional contexts.
  • NDA Management: Expertise in managing various forms of NDAs ensuring confidentiality and data protection in business engagements. Proficient in creating agreements that are clear, concise, and legally enforceable.
