About the Client

Our client is a renowned HK listed company with a strong business presence in Hong Kong and China. They are recruiting a seasoned Senior Manager to manage their risk management division in their Hong Kong office.

About the Role

  • Lead the Group Risk Management Team in developing, refining, and implementing the Enterprise Risk Management framework to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
  • Continuously optimize and innovate risk management strategies and techniques to enhance existing processes and ensure compliance with the latest standards.
  • Liaise effectively with stakeholders across diverse geographical locations for thorough risk assessment, identification, and mitigation.
  • Ensure the effective implementation of all risk management policies and guidelines across the organization.
  • Maintain the risk register and develop an analytical framework to assess new and emerging risks.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on significant risks and other relevant documents to senior management and the Board Audit & Risk Committee.
  • Coordinate scenario risk modeling exercises related to major risks and maintain a consistent dashboard to reflect their outputs.
  • Provide training and technical guidance to management and employees regarding effective risk management strategies and programs.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as directed by the department.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines
  • CPA, CIA, CISA, CRMA or CFE
  • 10 years + relevant work experience, including ERM related experience in an in-house environment
  • Analytical, detail-minded, able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • China market experience is required
  • Chinese report writing is required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
  • Occasional travel will be required
