Business Analyst / Project Management Officer (Investment Bank) (Ref. No: 12884)

Our client, an Investment Bank, is looking for a high-caliber person to fill the position.

Job Duties

  1. Suggest IT solutions or process improvements with consideration of architectural direction and guidelines set up by the IT committee.
  2. Understand business change needs, assess the impact of those changes, and capture, analyze, and document requirements.
  3. Support the communication and delivery of those requirements with relevant parties.
  4. Bridge the gap between business and IT development.
  5. Provide details for development and ensure final delivery.
  6. Factor in the IT solution with the firm-wide front-to-back facilities, architectural principles, and long-term benefits.
  7. Define appropriate system workflows, processes, and structures. Requirement gathering and analysis, ensuring the objectives of the project are well defined and meet business needs are part of the duties.
  8. Assist project manager with project management, tracking issues, documentation, and service delivery.
  9. Participate in various testing of the delivery system and final delivery.

Job Requirements

  1. Degree holder in Computer Science or related field.
  2. 4 years experience as a Business Analyst, including requirement gathering and UAT.
  3. 6 years working experience in Investment Banking IT in Cash Equities, Futures & Options, and Fixed Income.
  4. Extensive knowledge of OMS, Exchange Connectivity, FIX Connectivity, Electronic Trading, and Front to Back Office Flow.
  5. Experience with Sophis or Global Commodity business is a plus.
  6. Technical knowledge is highly preferred.
  7. Proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese & English, with fluency in Putonghua.
