Position Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operation and Maintenance Engineer to manage and maintain Hong Kong's largest outdoor IoT solution. This role is responsible for ensuring system reliability, conducting performance reviews, developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and supporting safety and sustainability goals. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience and fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. System Management: Monitor and maintain the performance of Hong Kong's largest outdoor IoT system, ensuring consistent operation and minimal downtime.
  2. Maintenance Reviews: Perform regular inspections and evaluations of system operations to identify improvement opportunities and ensure optimal functionality.
  3. SOP Development: Develop, update, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) emphasizing safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Research and propose innovative technologies to enhance system performance and streamline maintenance processes.
  4. Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement operational improvements for greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  5. Safety and Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to safety regulations and sustainability goals, proactively addressing potential risks. Work closely with project teams, frontline staff, and external vendors to address technical challenges and deliver operational excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  2. Experience: At least 1 year of experience in IoT system operations, maintenance, or related fields.
  3. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IoT systems and SOP development.
  4. Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  5. Languages: Proficiency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin is required.
  6. Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills for stakeholder coordination.

Additional Advantage: Possession of a valid driving license is preferred; familiarity with safety regulations, sustainability practices, and advanced technologies is an added advantage.
