Regional HR Manager

Our client is a leading Italian cosmetics brand known for its dynamic, fast-paced environment and a commitment to innovation. Operating through a franchise model, they are expanding their presence in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and seeking a talented HR leader to help drive this growth.

As the Regional HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and managing HR operations across these markets. Reporting directly to the leadership team, this is a hands-on role requiring a strategic mindset and the ability to execute.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set Up HR Operations: Build and implement HR processes, policies, and systems from the ground up to support a growing team of approximately 20 people.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Lead recruitment efforts, develop talent strategies, and design programs to attract, retain, and develop employees.
  • Regional Coverage: Oversee HR operations in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore, ensuring alignment with local labor laws and business goals.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive workplace culture and ensure the well-being of employees.
  • Retail HR Support: Provide HR solutions tailored to the retail environment, focusing on workforce planning, training, and performance management.
  • Strategic Partnering: Collaborate with franchise partners and senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 10–15 years of HR experience, with a track record of setting up and building HR operations, preferably in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in retail HR is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations across Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
