Claims Manager

We will count on you to:

  • Provide high standard and timely services in accordance with the agreed Business Protocols of Marsh's clients and/or any specific services standards
  • Raise the profile of Marsh's claims servicing – both internal and external, e.g. to attend survey and meetings, prepare and present claims analysis with clients etc.
  • Provide proactively claims management to Marsh's clients independently, such as advice on claims strategy, reserving, negotiate and settle claims on Employees' Compensation, Personal Injury and liability claims
  • Communicate and liaise with clients, insurers, lawyers, adjusters and third party service providers
  • Manage Marsh's clients account on claims management side independently
  • Provide necessary support and guidance to Senior Claims Executive/Claims Executive
  • Assist in improving quality and efficiency of work, including workflow, claims system, and claims reports within the WIRM Team

What you need to have:

  • Degree holder; holder of a relevant professional qualification
  • At least 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of insurance and claims management
  • Good knowledge of the Employees' Compensation Ordinance, legal and regulatory framework
  • Excellent organisation skills - able to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - able to work within a team and negotiate effectively
  • PC literate in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
