The appointee will assist the Head (Postgraduate Secretariat) in performing a range of administrative duties in regard to the oversight and support of postgraduate education.Major duties include:

serving as a coordinator to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders on matters concerning taught postgraduate education; providing secretarial support to committees including vetting proposals, preparing meeting papers, drafting committee minutes and following through the implementation of decisions made by the committees; preparing postgraduate-related guidelines and manuals, and monitoring the implementation; assisting in the compilation of reports and statistics; andcoaching and supervising junior staff.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in local tertiary education institution(s).The appointee should also possess good communication skills (in written and verbal English, Cantonese and Putonghua), strong IT and number skills with meticulous sense and sound judgement.The candidate also is expected to be a good team player, well-organized with a strong sense of responsibility, and able to work independently in a dynamic working environment.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Officer. 

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and a written test. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
