The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.

You will be responsible for:

  • formulating infrastructure architectural principle to support the overall Enterprise Architectural principle of WKCDA;

  • owning Infrastructure landscape “As-Is” and “To-Be” 3-year roadmap to support the overall Enterprise Architectural roadmap of WKCDA;

  • leading and owning on-going research, learning and work with Infrastructure and Operations (I&O) to reapply infrastructural design practice from relevant reference use cases; 

  • building an enterprise infrastructure, Cloud and Containerized architecture to align with the technology roadmaps of the Authority;

  • establishing, maintaining and enforcing strategic enterprise architecture standards and policies that govern the use of digital platforms in the Authority - including Multi-cloud Platforms, AWS, Microsoft Azure and O365 etc;

  • defining end-to-end cloud and virtualization infrastructure strategy, standard and process, establish framework and operation model for enterprise architectures, and manage system infrastructure using cloud and virtualization standard and technique;

  • maintaining and reviewing IT technical standard components to align with the technology roadmaps;

  • identifying, evaluating and managing the associated risks related to infrastructure and Cloud architecture;

  • providing expert advice on technical best practices, industry trends and emerging technologies in related domains (including but not limited to Cloud and 5G/6G, IoT);

  • researching, identifying, and evaluating new technologies or products in the related area that are of value to IT development; and

  • providing advisories for technology innovations for business challenges.

You should:

  • possess a recognised degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines;

  • have at least 10 years of post-qualification IT experience with minimum 5 years in infrastructure Architect or Cloud Architect related roles;

  • have strong experience in managing IT infrastructure, including network, storage, server, OS, virtualization technology, databases, middle-tier software management;

  • have strong experience in designing and managing infrastructure / Cloud platforms and related technologies, including but not limited to K8S, Docker and distributed databases;

  • have strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure architectures, particularly in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS enterprise cloud computing and containerized architectures, technology;

  • have good understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF;

  • have good knowledge of emerging technologies, market best practices and industry trends;

  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

  • be a proven strategic thinker to provide big picture and visions for future technology development;

  • have holder of related professional certificates is definitely an added advantage;

  • be proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
