IT Technician

Benson Hunt is a leading technology company specializing in IT solutions for businesses. We are currently seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our dynamic team. As an IT Technician at Benson Hunt, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our clients' computer systems, networks, and software applications.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of technologies and solve complex technical issues. You will be responsible for diagnosing hardware and software problems, performing repairs and upgrades, and providing technical support to end users. Additionally, you will play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our clients' data through regular backups and virus protection measures.

• Diagnose hardware and software problems and perform repairs or upgrades as necessary
• Provide technical support and guidance to end users on computer and software related issues
• Install and configure computer systems, networks, and software applications
• Perform regular system maintenance tasks and updates, including patches and security fixes
• Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and implement solutions to resolve issues
• Ensure the security and integrity of data through regular backups and virus protection measures
• Keep accurate records of all repairs, maintenance tasks, and technical support requests

Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role
• Solid knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Familiarity with backup and antivirus software and procedures
