Area Manager, SEA

As an Area Manager, you are responsible for the sales performance, customer service, and the overall profitability of several COS stores within the following area: SG, MYR, HK, TW, PH, and AUNZ.
In this role, you lead the Area- and Store-Management Teams to ensure the area runs in the most efficient way. You conduct the strategic planning and all operational as well as commercial activities
You will be reporting to the Head of Sales APAC based in Singapore.
What you will do:
- Responsible for the sales performance and overall profitability of your area
- Implement the strategic planning, as well as major operational and commercial activities of the sales area
- Collaborate with all functions in the Area Team, develop an efficient—and informative—workflow, and lead the area towards the set long--and short--term goals
- Lead and grow your Area Team and Store Managers to grow the business, guiding them through the whole employee life cycle (recruitment, performance, appraisal, reward, development, exits)
- Collaborate with the Area Visual to ensure all sales campaigns are carried out in accordance with COS guidelines and secure a high standard of visual merchandising while supporting and challenging to optimise store layouts to drive selling
- Work with the Area Controller and Area HR to implement appropriate staff structure in stores, to ensure operations can be handled with quality and efficiency
- Analyse selling reports, budgets, and other available tools (merchandising information, competitors' context, local opportunities, et al) in making business decisions to drive selling
- Regularly follow up on the attainment of selling/profitability objectives with each Store Team
- Secure excellent direct and indirect customer service within the area, by securing operations, standards, and trainings

What you need to succeed
- Previous working experience in a Area/Retail operations Manager from fashion and liftstyle brands
- Excellent communication and presentation skill
- Comfortable working in matrix organization leading teams working remotely and from different markets
- Ability to analyse sales, P&L and result-driven
- Ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day execution
- Excellent problem solving & decision making abilities
- Able to work flexibly, multi-task and determine key priorities
- Comfortable travelling up to 40% of the time
