Job Scope:

The individual shall inspect products dimensionally and visually manufactured by external vendors in China to ensure all parts conform to FLS established criteria. Conducts inspections on first article production, in process inspection, production run and random inspection. Coordinate with the purchasing, production, and quality department to provide routine feedback on quality of vendors’ product and inspections. Coordinates activities involved in the fabrication and assembly of various products, including but not limited to pumps, cyclones, manifolds, spirals, and valves.

Job responsibilities:

Comply with company’s safety rules and procedure. Read the parts drawings and inspect the products according to the Receiving Inspection Procedure. Complete inspection reports and understand the inspection criteria and procedures. Use common QC measuring tools. Report quality issues found in daily work especially during receiving inspection and follow up till disposition.

What you bring:

Be able to read parts drawings and inspect products according to established procedures, guidelines, and practical, common sense manufacturing knowledge. Inspect parts received from different vendors for pump, cyclone, valve, and spiral, and write report of inspection, and other duties may be assigned. Performs final inspection to ensure units comply with customer requirements and internal established guidelines. Evaluates defective parts and determines corrective action, provides input to rectify problems. Maintain information systems to allow for collection, retrieval, and analysis of quality data.
