Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join eFX IT team that looks after electronic trading for foreign exchange. You will be testing single dealer platform used by a global bank and number of widely used, industry standard platforms. This opportunity opened as we are building Hong Kong QA team for corporate and investment banking arm of established banking group.
We are looking for a QA team member to work on both our in house applications and vendors’ one. Having experience in eFX or financial sector is an advantage.
This is a hands-on role that will involve functional, regression, and integration testing of Jetstream FX and number of channels such as Bloomberg, FXAll, and 360T. You will have an opportunity to work on a range of FX products: Spot, Forward, Swap, NDF, and Options. This role could be suitable for someone with a BA/QA profile who is enthusiastic to learn, can pick up things quickly, has ‘can-do’ attitude, and enjoys working in fast-paced environment.
Being part of a dynamic investment banking culture you will partake in testing leading edge technology in electronic trading for foreign exchange. You will gain in-depth knowledge of wide variety of FX products and experience of order flow and trade execution. You will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with business representatives, development, support, and project managers.
This Trainee should have already completed all graduation requirements and will be able to start working full-time from September 2024. Trainee contract is one year to begin with and renewable for up to two years in total.
Key Responsibilities
Perform manual functional and regression testing of Jetstream FX and channels
Document, raise, track resolution of issues
Basic troubleshooting of issues by analysing logs and coordinating with third party software vendors
Basic environment monitoring and preparation for testing
Gather and analyse requirements
Develop test plan, and write and amend test cases
Maintain regression pack
Proactively engage with BAs, Devs, and other teams
Meet release deployment targets
Perform daily environment health check
