Higher Diploma or above in science discipline2 years' working experience in a laboratoryExperience in operating laboratory equipment including autoclave would be an advantageSelf-motivated, organized, detail-minded, hardworkingGood communication skills, positive attitude and willing to learnGood command of Chinese and EnglishLower qualifications and/or less experience may be considered for appointment as Laboratory AssistantOn-the-job training will be provided

Responsibilities:

Perform sterilization of laboratory materialsBe responsible for routine maintenance of laboratory equipmentMaintain records as necessaryPrepare and handle laboratory apparatusAssist in daily operation of the facilityProvide technical assistance to support R&D activitiesStocktake and maintain inventoryWork outside office hours and/or weekends occasionally if requiredPerform ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisor/management
