Operations - Engineering and Production Manager Position: Engineering and Production Manager Objective: To play a key role in the development of new products and projects, leading each initiative from an engineering perspective. The candidate will be responsible for managing resources (assigning tasks, ensuring timelines, and maintaining quality standards), while closely collaborating with other departments under the supervision of the General Manager. The role provides an opportunity for growth: with proven performance, the candidate may take on increasing responsibilities, including the management of production processes and, potentially, the oversight of factory operations over time. Location: Dongguan, China – where our facilities are based. Key Responsibilities: This role reports directly to the General Manager and works in close collaboration with the Head of Internal Project Development and the Design Team. Lead and drive innovation in the development of visual merchandising products, mannequins, and hangers for world-renowned sports and luxury brands. Manage the Product Development Department (currently a team of 4), fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Provide critical technical insights to guide decisions and solutions for project-specific challenges. Collaborate with the Production Department, offering technical product assistance as needed, particularly in plastics, 3 D printing, and blow moulding. Oversee ad-hoc projects, ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers, internal teams, and production. Maintain regular communication with the Hong Kong office to ensure alignment between customer requirements and factory capabilities. Drive R&D and innovation in processes and materials, with a focus on high-quality mannequin manufacturing to exceed customer expectations. This position is designed to be the first step in a long-term career within the company, where the candidate will gradually assume broader responsibilities—from production management to ultimately overseeing full factory operations. Requirements: Engineering background with 4 to 6 years of relevant working experience. Experience in project management and team management (overseeing 2-3 people). Exposure to working in a factory environment with production workshops. Proficiency in CAD and 3 D drawing software. Preferred knowledge of plastics materials (thermoplastics, polyurethane) and processes. Knowledge of 3 D printing technology (a plus). Experience in high-quality mannequin manufacturing (a plus). Fluent in English and Chinese (required). Knowledge of Cantonese, Italian, or German (a plus).
