Project Coordinator (Marketing and Event Executive) (Ref: Mag IC2025-004)TR at CUHK Company Limited (For Talent Pool only)Hong Kong SAROn-site Full Time 3 - 5 Year Associate Job Description: Event Planning and Management- Organize and Execute Events: Plan, coordinate, and manage various events, including summit, webinar, and community outreach programs focused on research and its applications.- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors, venues, and suppliers to ensure all logistical aspects of events are handled efficiently.- Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high-quality standards. Marketing and Promotion- Develop Marketing Strategies: Create and implement marketing strategies to promote events and initiatives, targeting relevant audiences within the biotech and healthcare communities.- Content Creation: Produce engaging content for promotional materials, including brochures, newsletters, and social media posts, to raise awareness about the center's research and events.- Digital Marketing: Utilize digital marketing tools and platforms to enhance the center's online presence and engage with the community effectively. Stakeholder Engagement- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including researchers, industry partners, and community organizations, to foster collaboration and support for the center's initiatives.- Networking: Attend industry conferences and networking events to represent the center and promote its mission and research. Research and Analysis- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges within the microbiome sector, providing insights to inform marketing strategies and event planning.- Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from event participants and stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of events and marketing efforts, using this information to improve future initiatives. Administrative Support- Reporting: Prepare reports on event outcomes, marketing performance, and stakeholder engagement activities for management review.- Database Management: Maintain and update databases of contacts, event participants, and marketing materials to ensure accurate and accessible information. Job Requirements: At least 3-4 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in the Market and Event Management sector. Fast and accurate Chinese and English typing skills. A good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua is preferred). Good computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point). Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. A self-motivated and meticulous attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility. The ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and work independently. Demonstrate strong organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for advancing micro research is preferred. The appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for one year, renewable subject to mutual agreement. The appointee will work mainly in Hong Kong Science Park.
