You will benefit our students and people, through our programmes such as the Global Campus, Nord Anglia University, and our collaborations with The Juilliard School, MIT, UNICEF, IMG, and King's College London.This role is being re-advertised due to the previous appointee being unable to relocate to Hong Kong for personal reasons.The role:

To provide professional leadership to deliver our Primary Physical Education provision, and secure high-quality teaching, effective use of resources, and high standards of learning & achievement for all pupils.To fulfill the school's mission statement by delivering high-quality education to our pupils, ensuring that planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting meet their varying learning, social, and welfare needs.Work in partnership with teachers, pupils, and parents to secure the best outcomes possible for every learner.Maintain and raise standards where required and monitor and support pupil progress in all phases of the Primary PE provision.Connect to our vision to create a generation of resilient and creative global citizens, who will change our world for the better.Inspire and motivate our students to succeed.

The Successful Candidate will possess:

Qualified to Bachelor of Education or appropriate Degree with PGCEQualified Teacher StatusQualified teacher with experience teaching in a UK and/or international environmentPE Training or similar qualificationMinimum of 2 years teaching experienceKnowledge of the English National Curriculum and related subject knowledgeKnowledge and understanding of children's learning and development and how this relates to Physical Education practiceKnowledge and awareness of current educational developments in Physical EducationExperience in making effective contributions to school improvement through subject development, phase leadership, subject leadership, or management roles.Evidence of knowledge and understanding of wider educational developmentsKnowledge and experience in raising standards for all groups of pupilsHow to plan, deliver, monitor, and evaluate lessons and learning as part of the school curriculumKnowledge of assessment and reporting proceduresAwareness of the Secondary PE curriculum to support effective transitions for all Primary learnersAble to integrate technology into the classroom experience to enhance and extend the learning of studentsSuccessfully teach students using technology in a virtual/hybrid environment

You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will be able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment as well as meet visa-related restrictions for Hong Kong of the China Region, including a Qualified to Bachelor of Education or appropriate Degree with PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status, hold a current Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure or equivalent from other countries.
