Join Our Membership Team at 1880 Hong KongPosition Overview: We are seeking a motivated and outgoing team player to support our Membership team. In this role, you will assist the Head of Membership in various aspects of member acquisition and engagement, including managing relationships across our facilities. Key Responsibilities: Membership Management: Respond to membership inquiries, conduct tours, and onboard new members. Handle requests for suspensions, terminations, and corporate transfers. Collaborate with the finance team on renewals, disputes, and other member-related financial matters. Address member concerns and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Support the Membership Director with member analysis, reports, and surveys. Build reciprocal relationships with partners and facilitate introductions for members. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive membership data. Enhance member engagement by understanding needs and developing new concepts. Attend events to co-host and welcome members, supporting the Event Programming team. Gather feedback from members and address complaints, coordinating with operations for resolution. Assist in connecting members with talent, speakers, and partners for club events. Community Development: Create and manage diverse member communities, from fitness to literature. Conceptualize and execute community-focused initiatives in collaboration with the Events and Programming teams. Ensure comprehensive planning and timely communication for all events. Contribute to business development for the working lounge, including basic analytics. Foster positive tenant relationships and ensure satisfaction with services. Collaborate with the finance team on invoicing and financial reporting. Work with management on renovation matters affecting the lounge and club space. Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience in membership, events, marketing, or account management. Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong team player with a proactive, 'can-do' attitude. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Skilled in building relationships within a diverse team. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Capable of independently navigating challenges and uncertainties.
