Position Summary We are seeking suitable candidates for backend developer roles responsible for the development of Blockchain and digital asset related applications with a specific focus on trading and market making. You will be working closely with markets business team members, product manager and the front and backend development teams. Duties & Responsibilities Design and development of backend services; Design and update architecture diagrams and sequence diagrams in a microservices context; Develop applications supporting e Trading, OTC trading, integration with exchanges, market making, risk management, net settlement; Integration with 3rd party services, exchanges, frontend, d Apps; Adapt applications and flows according to different jurisdiction requirements. Working closely with Front End and Dev Ops teams. Requirements3+ years' experience in backend development; Experience in the markets sector, such as trading applications, exchanges, market making, low latency architectures; Experience with geographically distributed systems; Experience with Rust, Golang or other strong typed languages; Experience in building exchange connectivity with FIX or OUCH/ITCH like protocols would be an advantage; Experience in network socket programming (TCP/UDP) and kernel network bypass techniques would be a plus; Familiarity with financial products such as derivatives (perpetual swaps, dated futures, options) is a plus; Familiar with Docker, building and deploying images in a CI/CD context; Experience with message queue/broker systems; Experience with developing applications in a microservices architecture; Familiar with Open API standards, declaration and documentation; Familiar with SQL and relational db data schemas; Focus on adequate unit testing coverage; Experience in Shell scripting; Ability to work collaboratively with team members; Attention to detail, with the ability to work independently in an often fast-paced environment; Good planning, coordination, and communication skills; Interest in blockchain, digital assets, trading, and security. Candidates who do not tick all the boxes are still encouraged to apply; those with less experience will still be considered for the position but with an adjustment to the level of seniority. Fullstack developers with strong backend experience are highly encouraged to apply.
